They are doing pretty well Trish. I think all the planning and going through pictures and sharing memories is a real big help.
Jeff and I were talking this morning and certain things triggered some tears but we truly are thankful that his mom is not hurting anymore. The past couple of years have been tough on her.
One of the things that tells a little about her personality...she had decided long ago that she wanted to be wearing a certain pink dress that she absolutely loved, but wore it sparingly because it had wool in it and made her skin itch and irritated. She said she wanted to wear it when this time came because she knew it wouldn't be itchy anymore. LOL!

Yes, it does feel good to remember the fun things. Also today, Jeff's sister gave him some poems that his mom had written. (Several poets in his family btw, including Jeff).
Here's a prayer she wrote when I was pregnant with Josh...after losing the first two babies.
Prayer For Our Baby
Dear Lord, protect this unborn baby
growing now from day to day.
Your eye is on the sparrow, Lord,
watch this little one, we pray.
As the long months hurry by,
let him develop safe and sure.
As a gift from you, dear Lord,
we could hardly love him more.

She had a few others written too on his 1 and 2nd birthday. It was neat to read them after all these years.

Me, too. I think I met Pearl when I was up there a few years ago at your church. {{{{{{{{{{{{{Sharon}}}}}}}}}}}}}} Please give Jeff my condolences as well.
