Mixed Martial Arts, aka Ultimate Fighting. It started with boxing, then came kick boxing, now it's MMA where just about anything goes. At the end of this road is the Roman Coliseum and the gladiators fighting to the death.

However, on further review, I'd have to go with MMA.

The NBA. It's not a team sport but a collection of narcisists.

Baseball, golf, or racing. Golf is alright to play, but incredibly boring to watch.

He reminds me of "Dallas Raines" (a weatherman for the local ABC station here in Los Angeles) on steroids. Pro wrestling are "soap operas" for men!

I would join in the Ban Pro Wrestling movement. Now college and sumo wrestling... that is sport. "WWwhatever" is a b-grade performance by stunt men and women. No offense to stunt actors BTW. They work hard.

I took it as a reference to the WWE and its predecessors. quote:

I can agree with abolishing hot dog eating contests and poker, but not bowling. Sadly, real wrestling is being abolished because of Title IX requests to ban boys from playing sports.

Title IX just ensures girls get an even chance to play. Wrestling has been dying a slow death since I was in high school, and that was 1975. There's very little interest in a sport that doesn't in some way lead directly to multi-million dollar contracts and signing bonuses. The dedication and hard work it takes to be competitive in wrestling just aren't there in most of today's kids. If they're gonna wrestle, it's gonna be some kind of martial arts form that just might lead to the UFC or MMA. Would you want your kid to aspire to the WWE?
