I think I'd be more mad a that girl than at him. She knows what she's doing. He may not know how you feel about him. Also, you shoulda said "well I was going to ask you to sit by me, but you're already sitting with someone else now so maybe next time?"

True...she and I don't get along anyways...LONG STORY! Unless someone else told him how I feel about him, it's possible he doesn't know, the guys I hang with say I'm really hard to read? As they say, hindsight is 20/20, probably should have said that to him, but I kind of was just at a loss for words...mostly cause he normally doesn't sit by girls, so I wasn't sure what to say...

(((jesuschick247))) That doesn't sound fun.

I'm debating emailing my crush, just have to come up with a topic. This would really help if we had actually met in person.
Oh and OneJohn410, I've told him about the livestock/garden I plan on but have never talked about real food, that might work.

i wouldn't take this personally jc247 ... i don't think accepting an offer to sit next to someone else doesn't mean he doesn't like you or that he wants to marry the other girl ... i mean isn't think the same guy calling you beautiful, awesome, etc ... as you probably read guys posts on here that many of us are clueless at picking up signs, we're going to respond to the women giving the most obvious ones ... good job on getting up the courage to ask him to sit with you, maybe next time ...

don't know the whole story but i agree with iwillfearnoevil.

you also need to look at the maturity lvl of who is making said posts. sounds cold almost but is true. i am 36((37 in 26 days)) and been through highs and lows of relationships. and yeah i got a crush well not a crush per say but is a lady at Church i like but she considers us friends. cause we dated and it didnt work out.

Without you asking if the two of you could swap numbers?

Or without you asking him did he want your number?

I guess either is better than without him asking someone else other than you for it.

Well, if you put 'do you like homemade ice cream?' and then below that in the email added, with the purest natural ingredients and by hand, that could lock in some interest.

Popsi, you have been in my mind since last night and when I was in church, I felt a heavy burden for you. Your posts reminded me so much of what I went through 10 years ago. Please stick around or check in from time to time. You can PM me anytime.

Ok. I would like a little advice. I have a crush on this guy who attends my church. I first noticed him in a bible class that we took, now that the class is over I usually just see him during Sunday service. I think he may be interested in me also, but I'm not sure (he has made an effort to sit next to me during service). What should I do. I would prefer for him to make the first move. I'm kind of old fashioned and could never approach a man to let him know that I'm interested in him.

teemarie1310 - first off welcome to singles forum !!! there are plenty of ways to show some interest without directly asking him out ... some other people here can give good advice but there's probably a lot of little things you could do that wouldn't upset your 'old fashionedness' ... like if your church has a greeting period at some point in service and you make it a point to sit nearby, you're able to shake his hand and ask him how he's doing ... if your church offers multiple classes each quarter, you could always ask him if he's signed up for a class ... a lot of guys (myself included) post that sometimes we are pretty clueless as to picking up signs from women so you may need some patience and develop a little confidence along the way ... good luck!

My church does in fact have a "greeting period". Thank you for the advice, especially from a man's point of view!

<scooches over to make room for raivyne too>
Now I've got friends who want to matchmake again. Last time I let family set me up with someone and I really really really wanted to know what they thought of me to have put me with who they set me up with. I have a crush that I've been trying to get over since it's senseless and detrimental so I'm thinking maybe, juuuuuuuuust maybe I'll let the amature cupid's take a turn.

Maybe this is my 'maybe next time'?

P.S. Welcome TeeMarie1310

I agree with IWFNE's post.

Also, smile warmly at him. When you talk, look into his eyes, If he is heading your way obviously looking for a seat, make room for him. That is, slide over slightly. During greeting time ask how he is or anything else about him. You can ask about him and make him comfortable in talking to you without asking him out. KWIM?

(welcome to the forums)

Thanks...I invited him to stop by on Halloween so we could talk, we went to this thing at the Civic Center with the little kids from our church, anyways, he came with my guy bff, which was so totally cool! We mostly laughed, I feel like such an idiot around him a lot of the time! Anyways, when they were getting ready to leave, I whispered kidding to my bff how he had managed to drag him over there and he laughed as he told me that Singing Boy drove! I thought he was kidding until we all walked out to our cars and sure enough, there set his little mint green s-10 pick-up, too funny! This may just work out yet...
I laid it all on the altar Sunday night and I've decided that what ever God wants it to be, will be! This is out of my hand and in the hands of the ONE who knows best anyways!
