I love this verse too ... it has really helped me during some of the difficult seasons of life.

I don't know why, but I am still amazed at how true His word is. This verse....His perfect peace for whose mind is stayed on thee....
That is so true. When I am focused on Him, like I should be, He gives me the most amazing peace. Only when my mind wanders does the world beat me down. But He is forever, and His strength is everlasting, praise the Lord for He is good.

WOW this is just what i needed, i've been in a bit of a stupor today so positive thoughts, up lifting, encouraging verses yep just what i need....... great idea...
Here are some i've read in my devotional:
Holy Spirit Truth Divine
Dawn upon this soul of mine
Word of God and inward light
Wake my spirit clear my sight..
my hope is built on nothing less
than Jesus blood and rightousness
i dare not trust my sweetest frame
but wholly lean on Jesus name....
When i feel alone, i can pray, "Lord, i belong to you, and i know i'm not alone in this situation".
When i am bored and my mind drifts into fantasies of a more thrilling life, i can pray, "i belong to you, Lord, and you have the right to determine my circumstances, teach me the lesson of faithfulness today".
When things are going great, i can pray, "i belong to you, Lord, and i realize that you are the source of all good things".
When i feel hurt or anxious, i can pray, "i belong to you, Lord, and i know you are going to work this out for good in some way, i trust you".

I agree with Jim!!
God never gives up on us ... even when we walk away from Him. When we realize we have gotten ourselves lost and stand there looking for the direction to go, there He is, waiting with open arms, happy to help us, always loving.
